This is another Jane Austen's book that was turned into a movie. I have watched a few movies from Jane Austen’s books before. This movie follows her normal female protagonist who is very intelligent and knows that she steps out of the traditional barriers that are expected of her. When I started, I had a small hope that this would be exceptional because most of the other movies are and I love rewatching them but this one missed the mark for me. The plot is slower than normal and there are some extremely sexual moments that I was not prepared for. But one thing they did get right was the amount of sexual tension between a certain couple. For me those are the moments I love the most, so when they do get together, it is well worth the wait. This is a movie that I would not watch again but I am glad I did. My rating is a no thumb and a pinky. Still something is off for me. The last thing I will state is look out for the quivering lip, it still creeps me out when I think about it.
